THE SECRET IS OUT. CERAMIC IS THE ABRASIVE FOR NEW CYCLONE STONE FLOOR PADS

Ceramics have long been known as good abrasives and, indeed, have been used in certain Glomesh abrasive pads for many years. However, more modern developments, such as with our new Cyclone Stone FLoor Care Pad line, have led to the diversified use of ceramics in places where they weren't typically used before, namely in high performance stone floor pads.

With five to ten times the life of regular aluminium oxide, our proprietary blend has now become, as an abrasive, a much less expensive substitute for industrial diamonds in numerous abrasive uses. In addition it cuts quickly without overheating or burning the material being ground, has high heat resistance and good mechanical strength. The consequence of the development of Glit Glomesh's new Cyclone pads using this technology has meant, in the first place, that Cyclone pads are far more economical than pads using industrial diamonds.

But it doesn't end there. Pads made using diamond dust technology have the abrasive attached superficially as a separate process from the pad production itself. For this reason the abrasive is not an integral part of the pad. Once the superficially attached layer is worn away the rest of the pad is useless as an abrasive element.

So clearly Glomesh are once again leaders in floor pad technology, this time in stone floor care with the introduction of the new Cyclone pads.
